3 REASONS TO CHOOSE DOUCETTE SUCTION LINE HEAT EXCHANGERS 1. IMPROVED EVAPORATOR CAPACITY By subcooling the hot refrigerant liquid, the evaporator coil capacity is increased and the overall refrigeration system reliability is improved. In addition, the system pulldown time is improved. 2. INCREASED COMPRESSOR PROTECTION Refrigerant droplets can cause serious compressor damage. Suction Line Heat Exchangers are designed to protect the compressor by "vaporizing" these droplets as they pass through the heat exchanger. 3. IMPROVED EXPANSION VALVE OPERATION Due to fluctuating operating conditions, such as low ambient and low load, every refrigeration system can experience expansion valve "hunting" and liquid line bubbles.
